Biography

Lauren Glowski is a Masters student in the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS) program. Lauren earned her Master of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University. Lauren has over eight years of experience in a variety of clinical settings, primarily specializing in acute care dysphagia diagnostics and therapy. Special interests include radiology, palliative care, physician wellness and improvement of swallowing outcomes during head and neck cancer treatment. Lauren has enjoyed creating and presenting educational lectures for medical residents and university students, as well as developing a patient care pathway for oncologic dysphagia referrals. Lauren is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the learning health system approach and applying these perspectives to future research and clinical applications.
