Biography

Melissa Zochowski is a PhD candidate in the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems program. Melissa holds a BS in Zoology and Environmental Health from Michigan State University, an MBA in Nonprofit and Organizational Management from Eastern Michigan University, and certificates in change management, lean health care, and global health research from the University of Michigan. Melissa’s background in project and program management includes work in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology leading initiatives in program implementation, quality improvement, and process evaluation.

Areas of Interest

Melissa’s research interests include health services and health policy research in women’s health, development and implementation of new clinical services, and the impacts of system level decision making on the delivery of care.
