Allen Flynn, PharmD, Wins Distinguished Service Award

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) awarded Allen Flynn, Pharm D and DLHS Research Analyst, the Distinguished Service Award in the Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology on December 6th, 2016 at their 51st ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Selected by his peers to receive the award, Flynn was singled out for his volunteer activities that support the mission of Informatics and Technology as well as for his contributions that have advanced the profession of pharmacy. As technology lead in the Division of Learning & Knowledge Systems, Flynn’s team is developing The Knowledge Grid - a cutting edge way to leverage technology in order to speed the proliferation of medical knowledge.
