Nancy Allee named Interprofessional Leadership Fellow

The second cohort of U-M Interprofessional Leadership Fellows includes Department of Learning Health Sciences joint faculty member, Nancy Allee, MLS, MPH.

Nancy Allee is among seventeen U-M faculty members from the health sciences who were chosen to participate in the 18 month U-M Interprofessional Leadership Fellows program.  As a fellow, Allee will attend national Interprofessional Faculty Development workshops providing the opportunity for national peer networking across disciplines.  The 2017-2018 fellows will work in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Interprofessional Education (IPE) projects.

"I am interested in how the Taubman Health Sciences Library and DLHS, as organizations with connections to all the health sciences schools and the health system, can help engage in and foster interprofessional education collaborations, including partnering on faculty development initiatives, curriculum-integrated projects, competency-based approaches, and other clinical and research efforts in this area," says Allee. Adding that she is excited about the prospect of findings and scholarship that may result from the work.
