The AcademyHealth Education Council was formed in 2013 "to advise the Board and AcademyHealth leadership on the priorities and trends in educational needs of our members and the field of HSR." Piatt's term begins at the July 2020 Annual Research Meeting which will be held virtually this year.
“I’m looking forward to working with the council," reflects Piatt, adding that she plans on "providing unique insights around how health infrastructures and learning systems may enhance health services research within the context of interprofessional teams."
