DLHS Opens Door to COVID Resources

Covid-19 Best Evidence Front Door, a searchable resource, has been created by Taubman Health Sciences Library and the Department of Learning Health Sciences

A new open-source knowledge resource developed at the University of Michigan by DLHS and Tubman Health Sciences Library is now available at covidbestevidence.org

This "Front Door" provides direct access to high quality meta-analyses, literature syntheses, and clinical guidelines from multiple sources. The intent is to make this evidence findable and accessible with a single search, avoiding the need for knowledge-seekers to locate and then explore each source's website sequentially.

As part of the Taubman Library information environment, the Front Door is a growing resource. Currently it allows searchable access to 364 documents from 61 different sources but will be updated frequently as new information becomes available.

The Covid-19 Best Evidence Front Door was created by accessing trusted sources and is a complement to other resources that function similarly but focus on the primary literature.
