Anne Sales, PhD, RN, will present “Developing and Tailoring Implementation Strategies: An Implementation Mapping Approach

Join DLHS faculty member Anne Sales on March 4, 2021 at 12PM EST at the Implementation Research Group Cyber-Seminar part of the Veterans Administration Health Services Research & Development (HSR&D) Cyber Seminars.

Summary:  We will discuss the process of using theory and evidence to develop or select and tailor implementation strategies. We will include a description of the Implementation Mapping approach and highlight how this and other approaches can help inform important aspects of implementation strategy development and evaluation including: community and stakeholder engagement, considerations of equity, use of theories and frameworks for implementation strategy decision-making, and using logic models for informing implementation research questions. We will also discuss how this method represents a proactive approach to specifying form and function of implementation strategies.
