Stewart Wins 2021 HOPE Award

At the 12th annual HOPE and JOY Awards ceremony sponsored by the Office of Patient Experience, Janelle Stewart, administrative assistant, Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology (now an Educational Consultant with McLaren Health), and a HILS MS Online student, won the HOPE Adult Individual Award. A HOPE award is given to teams and individuals who champion the principles of patient- and family-centered care at Michigan. These awards are offered annually, and this year over 100 individuals and teams were nominated.
