Brannon, Mwenesi and Rentes Nominated for PhD Awards

Three Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems PhD candidates recognized for excellence

On Thursday January 13 the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (OGPS) will host it's PhD Student Awards.  This celebration recognizes graduate students for excellence in five categories: Teaching, Service, Research, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Entrepreneurship.  

Nominees from the HILS PhD program are:

  • Elliott Brannon, 5th Year PhD Candidate, for Excellence in Service Award
  • Rama Mwenesi, 5th Year PhD Candidate, for Excellence in DEI Award
  • Victor Rentes, 4th Year PhD Candidate, for Excellence in Research Award

The ceremony will take place virtually and the winners will receive a certificate as well as a monetary gift.

DLHS is proud to see the outstanding work of these three candidates acknowledged via these nominations.
