Department of Learning Health Sciences Chair, Dr. Charles Friedman, was formally recognized as a 2022 American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI) Fellow at the recent American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Symposium. The Josiah Macy Jr. Professor of Medical Education, Information, and Public Health was among 4 distinguished fellows named in 2022. AMIA reports that the recognition program started in 2020 and aims to recognize senior Fellows who made significant contributions to ACMI in areas like policy formulation, the practice of informatics, and applied research.
