Dr. Rajesh Mangrulkar, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and of Learning Health Sciences in the Medical School, was awarded the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Alpha Omega Alpha Robert J. Glaser Distinguished Teacher Award. According to The University Record, the award is in recognition of faculty members who are considered "gifted teachers," and are renowned in medical student education. Dr. Mangrulkar is also the founder and executive director of the Research Innovation Scholarship Education (RISE) initiative, which is a strategic program to bring more innovation into health science education.
