Roshan Paudel, MPH

Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS) PhD Student

Roshan Paudel is a PhD student in the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems. He completed his Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. He is interested in application and adaptation of Learning Health System perspective in Community Health Centers and primary care safety net environments. Before joining the PhD program, Roshan was at the American Cancer Society where he collaborated with community health centers to become stronger delivery systems through continuous quality improvement and capacity building.

What attracted me to HILS Program?

I have always been interested in testing new ideas and solutions to address long-standing problems in public health and health care. I became interested in the concept of Learning Health Systems because this is an emerging field with great potential to make meaningful changes through health informatics, implementation science, and the development of learning networks and knowledge systems.

Areas of Interest

Application of Learning Health Systems in primary care settings to support safety net delivery systems become stronger delivery systems.
