Dr. Katharine Smith will present a seminar titled,

"˜The nanoscale architecture of inhibitory synapses in plasticity and disease”

on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at noon.

Dr. Kate Smith earned her MSci Degree in Biochemistry with Honors from The Imperial College, UK. She then earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Neurobiology from the University College London, UK. From 2012-2015 Dr. Smith performed postdoctoral research in the Penzes Lab, Northwestern University and the Hanley Lab, University of Bristol, UK. She was a Elizabeth Blackwell Institute Early Career Fellow, University of Bristol, UK.
