15th Annual Prechter Lecture

Norm Ornstein is the keynote speaker at this year’s (virtual) lecture. Norm will talk about “Reforming and Transforming Our Broken System on Serious Mental Illness,” including stories of his family's journey with bipolar disorder.

 
 
 
The Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program is hosting the 15th Annual Prechter Lecture! We’re featuring Norm Ornstein as our keynote speaker at this year’s (virtual) lecture. He’s a political scientist, contributing author for The Atlantic magazine, frequent commentator on MSNBC, and emeritus scholar at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research.
 
Norm will talk about “Reforming and Transforming Our Broken System on Serious Mental Illness,” including stories of his family's journey with bipolar disorder. After his talk, there will be a panel discussion about the present & future of mental health policy, with several panelists, including: Polly Gibson, Amy Kilbourne, and Marianne Udow-Phillips.
