Cognitive Fatigue: MURI Research Forum

In March 2022, the Department of Defense announced $195M in Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) awards for the 2022 fiscal year. 

The grant is sponsored by the Army Research Office and falls under the MURI topic area of Uncovering the Underlying Neurobiological Mechanisms of Cognitive Fatigue. A grant to support collaborative research in “Understanding and Predicting Cognitive Fatigue across Multiple Timescales, Distinct Aspects of Cognition, and Different Individuals with Multiscale Whole Cortex Models” was given to the University of Michigan in collaboration with the University of Arizona and Washington State University.
