Reaction time has remained as a mainstay in the study of conflict. However, since its rise in popularity, its limitations have been appreciated but not adequately addressed.

Through a combination of a novel behavioral method and computational modeling, the full temporal landscape of conflict processing and the mental computations thereof can be unveiled.
