Joseph Krampen

Ph.D. Student
Lab PI - Kathleen Collins

I'm a Microbiology and Immunology graduate student in my second year studying HIV pathogenesis in the Collins Lab. I started my research journey working in structural biology at Purdue University where I studied biological engineering. Since becoming an M&I student, I've enjoyed learning about the intricate details of the immune response to different diseases and conditions.  When I'm not in classes or lab, I like to run, hike, kayak, bake, and play video games.
