Megan has lived in many states, but most strongly identifies as a ‘Pittsburgher’. After receiving her B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, Megan followed the siren call of Ann Arbor and worked as a technician in the laboratory of Jason Weinberg, MD, studying Mouse Adenovirus Type 1. She continued her study of DNA viruses when she joined Mike Imperiale’s lab, where she is studying persistence of BK polyomavirus. In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with rescue rabbits, singing, volunteering with the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan in Ypsilanti, MI, and searching out new microbreweries and craft cocktails in Ann Arbor.
