Dr. Stephanie Eid Receives Prestigious International Award

At the 31st Annual Meeting of NEURODIAB, Dr. Stephanie Eid was awarded the Angelika Bierhaus prize in basic research.

 

The Annual Meeting of NEURODIAB, the diabetic Neuropathy Study Group of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes,  is considered the most important international annual event in the scientific field of diabetic neuropathy.  Each year, two young researchers (under 35 years) are recognized for substantial contributions and research achievements in basic science (the Angelika Bierhaus prize) or clinical trials (the Goran Sundkvist prize) in the field of diabetic neuropathy. NeuroNetwork for Emerging Therapies postdoctoral fellow Stephanie Eid was given Angelika Bierhaus prize in basic research.
