Translating data analysis into treatments for chronic conditions that affect the aging population

Dr. Beare specializes in developing and implementing advanced image processing and statistical methods for analyzing data collected for medical research and health services studies. His research focus is on the translation of methods developed by computational researchers to medical applications. He has had success in domains ranging from brain imaging research, to paediatric neurosurgery and deployment of acute stroke services.
