Burgess is preceded by Josie Clowney, Ph.D., who recently stepped down from the Director role, which she has held since 2019. Josie provided outstanding leadership for the Kavli Group. “Thank you to Josie for her great leadership during these trying times, and to all of our early-career Neuroscience faculty for keeping the group’s momentum going,” said MNI Interim Co-Director, Shelly Flagel, Ph.D.
“We at the Michigan Neuroscience Institute are excited to see Christian in this new role and know that the Innovators Group will be in good hands,” MNI Interim Co-Director, Hank Paulson, M.D, Ph.D. added.
We look forward to working with the U-M Neuroscience Innovators as they continue to engage junior faculty across U-M campuses and enhance our neuroscience community. The U-M Neuroscience Innovators will continue its substantial contribution to engaging neuroscientists across the campuses.
