Happy Holidays from MNI!

As we approach the end of this year and the holiday season kicks into gear, we wanted to take a moment to reflect and note the things we have to be thankful for as the Interim Co-Directors of MNI.

We are grateful that Michigan leadership has shown confidence in us to make changes and establish a foundation for a promising and exciting future for MNI.

We are fortunate to work with an amazing and resilient staff who have adapted to the continually fluctuating demands a growing Institute faces. The expansion of MNI from less than 20 Faculty to more than 140 Affiliates could not have taken place without their superb efforts.

We are eager to see the continued growth in neuroscience as many new faculty have joined us, or will soon join us, in various schools and departments across the University.

Finally, we want to thank you, members of the MNI community, for your support, enthusiasm, and dedication as we expanded the MNI and started developing new programs. The success of MNI will come from your continued involvement, insight, and ideas, and we are grateful that so many of you have helped us over the past year. Because of you, 2022 has been a very good year for MNI, and we can anticipate that 2023 will be even better. Thank you!

We hope you all have a restful holiday break with plenty of tasty food, and good times with family and friends.

Warm Regards,

Hank Paulson & Shelly Flagel
MNI Interim Co-Directors
