Areas of Interest
Patients with muscular dystrophies develop progressive muscle weakness and lose capability for movement without physical support. Eventually, failed cardiorespiratory functions claim their late years. The main goal of my research is to explore underlying pathological mechanisms of muscular dystrophies to provide further insights into development of treatments.
