In the month of November we traditionally reflect on reasons to be thankful. All of us at the University of Department of Molecular & Integrative remain graceful for the support of our colleagues, trainees and friends over the years.
I encourage you to consider a gift to the Christin Carter-Su Collegiate Professorship in Physiology. Dr. Carter-Su has risen through the ranks since coming to the U-M, reaching full professor in 1992. The pioneering aspects of her research, as well as her advocacy on behalf of women and mentoring of younger colleagues, have been recognized my multiple U-M and national awards. We were surprised to find that the Christin Carter-Su Collegiate Professorship in Physiology will be the first endowed professorship established in honor of a female faculty member non only in MIP, but in any basic science department at UMMS!
By making a gift (victors.us/2gwYoMP), you will perpetuate a legacy that can help to shape the department's future, bright with opportunities for scientists of tomorrow.
Thank you!
