I’m originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I performed my undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada in psychology. In 2009 I obtained my Masters in Psychology at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Woodside. I then moved to Lille, France to perform my doctorate in neuroscience under the supervision of Dr. Vincent Prevot. In February 2013 I joined the team of Dr. Carol Elias for my post-doctoral fellowship.
Areas of Interest
Metabolic disorders, such as obesity and diabetes, are known to cause impairments in fertility. I am interested in how metabolism controls puberty and fertility in mammals. I study these processes by examining molecular and genetic pathways within specific areas of the brain known to govern both metabolism and reproduction.
