Undergraduate school: Purdue University
Medical school:Indiana University School of Medicine
A very short biography:
I've been a lifelong Indiana resident, having been born and raised near Indianapolis. I didn't travel far to study engineering at Purdue, and I followed that up with going to IU for medical school. My original plan was to spend some time outside of the Midwest for residency, but that changed once I came to Ann Arbor. I loved the whole culture and vibe that I got when I came here, and this has continued to hold true. The people here are phenomenally fun and supportive, and the training is excellent. Ann Arbor is a fun town with a lot to offer, with fantastic food (I can't say enough about the restaurant scene here), drinks (try a sour beer!), outdoor activities (kayaking is awesome), and the arts (many live music options too). From a professional standpoint, I'm currently interested in neurocritical care; I'm also passionate about medical education.
One interesting personal thing we should know about you: I like watching the sun rise.
Theme song: I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) - The Proclaimers. (Most of my other choices were from HIMYM, weird?)
