Learn More About Our Residency Program
Our clinical training is composed of various areas, including inpatient services, consultation services, ICU and outpatient services, and more.
We maintain an active schedule of teaching conferences for residents. We also offer educational discretionary and travel funds.
All residents must successfully complete a preliminary medicine internship meeting the standards of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. All of our positions come with a matched internship with the University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
In addition to the strategic plans of Michigan Medicine and Neurology, our residency program offers an array of resources and opportunities to ensure our residents are both trained and supported in creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace and impact in our communities.
Our residency program is committed to promoting the holistic well-being of its residents and actively strives to support resident families to foster a feeling of community and connection within the program.
