David S. Knopman, MD
Professor of Neurology, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, MN

David S. Knopman, M.D. is a 1975 graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He did his Neurology residency and behavioral Neurology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He is a Professor of Neurology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine where he has been since 2000. He is a former deputy Editor of Neurology, and is currently the Omsbudsman for the journal. He is on the Scientific Advisory Group of the Alzheimer’s Association. In 2019, he won the Khachaturian Award from the Alzheimer’s Association.
