Monalisa Ghosh, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Adult Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at the University of Michigan. She obtained her MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed her residency there in Internal Medicine. Dr. Ghosh completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health where her she focused on translational research in adoptive T-cell therapy in the setting of allogeneic stem cell transplant. She was recruited to the University of Michigan in 2017 as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Her clinical and research interests are cellular therapies including CAR-T cell therapy for hematologic malignancies. She is one of the leaders of the Adult Cellular Therapy Program at Michigan Medicine and is the PI of multiple clinical studies of cellular therapies including various CAR T-cell therapies for hematologic malignancies.
