Megha Ghosh is a PhD candidate in Omar Ahmed’s lab in the U-M Biopsychology program she ahs received her master’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on understanding the computations performed by the retrosplenial cortex, a key Attentional Motor Integration node. Specifically, she deciphers the retrosplenial neural code using analysis of brain rhythms and large ensembles of neurons during both sleep and movement, helping to identify potential biomarkers in disease states.
