"A New Generation for Stroke Recovery and Rehabilitation: Let’s Get Really Specific"

Dr. David Lin

David Lin, MD is a critical care neurologist with additional subspecialization in neurorehabilitation at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is the Director of the MGH NeuroRecovery Clinic and an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. In his clinical practice, Dr. Lin cares for patients with acute neurologic injuries including stroke, brain hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury from the intensive care unit through the post-acute care continuum. Dr. Lin's interdisciplinary research group, the MGH Laboratory for Translational Neurorecovery, is focused on understanding systems neuroscience mechanisms of upper extremity motor recovery in order to inform neurorehabilitation therapies. Dr. Lin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Medical School and completed residency and fellowships in Neurology, Neurocritical Care, and Neurorehabilitation at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
