I was born and raised in Akron, OH.  Medicine has always been an interest of mine, but I also enjoy history. I went to The Ohio State University for undergrad where I studied biology and WWII history. Even as a Buckeye, leaving Ohio for Michigan (or as we call it, ‘That State Up North’) was an easy decision. As a nationally renowned academic program with well-known faculty, Michigan Medicine offers phenomenal clinical and research opportunities. Our department values your interests and passions as a budding neurologist, and more importantly, as a person. And if that isn't enough, Ann Arbor is a vibrant city with plenty of greenery, a fantastic bike trail, and a unique downtown.

Fun fact: In 3rd grade, I won an Oreo stacking contest at a grocery store for the most Oreo’s stacked without falling.
