Biography

Undergraduate school: Boston University

Medical school: Pennsylvania State University

I'm originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I left to study Psychology at BU and later returned to my home state for medical school. I was a late bloomer in Neurology, finally deciding towards the start of my fourth year and later couples matched with my husband, John. Living in Ann Arbor has been a treat! I've enjoyed checking out the local trails on foot and bike, camping and looking for moose in the Upper Peninsula, and exploring the diversity of food/music in both Ann Arbor and the surrounding towns. In the hospital, I feel lucky to have fun, supportive co-residents and approachable faculty members to work with every day.

Fun fact:  I've always loved the way that cooking can bring people together, and I've really enjoyed trying new things with family and friends like canning pickles or making ravioli.

Theme song: "If I Had a Boat" by James Vincent McMorrow
