A very short biography:
I'm originally from the metro-Detroit suburbs of Michigan. I first came to Ann Arbor as an undergrad and ended up falling in love with Neuroscience. A few adventures later, I found myself back in Ann Arbor when interviewing for Neurology residency. I found the city just as exciting as when I left it. Training in a small city filled with outdoor activities, a variety of restaurants, and some of the best coffee shops around has been a wonderful experience so far. What really drew me to the program though was the close-knit community, the culture of the institution, and the endless opportunities to delve into the subspecialties of Neurology. I'm especially excited to learn more about Neuroimmunology and would like to incorporate women's health into practicing Neurology.
One interesting personal thing we should know about you: My husband and I love to travel and one of our favorite experiences so far was playing with wild kangaroos on a remote beach in Australia.
