Biography
Dr. Michael Popovich is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Michigan. He is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine, and he completed his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Sports Neurology at the University of Michigan. He also has earned a MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. He currently serves as a team physician for Eastern Michigan University athletics. In addition to his work with the Michigan NeuroSport program, he practices General Neurology as a neurohospitalist and teleneurologist.
Areas of Interest
Dr. Popovich’s research interests include the use of exercise in the management of neurologic conditions, as well as the optimization of concussion evaluation and management to improve recovery.
