Biography
Undergraduate School: UCLA
Medical School: Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine
I grew up in Northern California before going down to LA for undergrad. There, I chose neuroscience as a major only because it sounded fun, and that prompted my interest in all things brain-related! I came to the Midwest for medical school and stayed for the people (but not the snow).
I live in Ann Arbor with my 1 year old goldendoodle, Navi, (named after the Zelda character, of course) and outside of work I love intense board games, reading too much, and hiking!
Fun fact: I taught myself to play classical-style guitar during medical school, and now I love learning and playing arrangements of popular songs.
My theme song: “San Francisco” by The Mowgli's
