Senior Clinician Scientist Investigator (SCSI) Award

Dr. Michael Wang has received a Senior Clinician Scientist Investigator (SCSI) Award from the Biomedical Laboratory R&D (BLRD) Service.

The purpose of the SCSI Award is to provide outstanding senior BLRD clinician scientists with longer term, flexible support to maintain their laboratory infrastructure, retain key staff, and explore transformative advances in their fields.  Dr. Wang will have the unique opportunity to extend his newly-funded 4 year Merit for an additional 4 years (for a total of up to 8 years of funding).
