A very short biography:
After growing up in the Midwest, my husband and I were delighted to begin our residency training in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am thankful to be in a place where my desire to care for others, love for learning, and need to be in and explore nature can all be fulfilled. My fascination with the brain lies in its resilience and ability to reshape the way we see and interact with the world. I'm excited to begin the neurology-centric portion of residency, as I continue to serve the community as a Pediatric Neurologist in training. My current favorite activities include convincing my husband that growing our own food and composting are good ideas, long (often muddy) walks in the woods with our sweet chocolate lab Juliet, browsing used book stores, and date nights to the latest superhero or comic-inspired films.

One interesting personal thing we should know about you: I grew up on a large farm in rural Southwest Missouri and spent my days frolicking in fields and forests, surrounded by a veritable slew of animals (cows, llamas, donkeys, horses, chickens, guineas, peacocks, goats, dogs, and cats to name a few...).
