Project Title
BASIC-PAC (Brain Attack Surveillance in Corpus Christi-Post-Acute Care) Study (R01NS107463)
Overview
Often, people with stroke need assistance from family and/or friends to help them with daily activities. However, we know very little about the experiences and needs of these individuals who provide care for a loved one with a stroke. This study aims to answer important questions about stroke rehabilitation, informal stroke caregiving, and gaps between caregiving needs and available community resources. Participation in this study will help us better understand the experiences of people who provide care to stroke survivors; therefore, we can develop new ways to support stroke caregivers in the future.
