Biography

Dr. Ramnath attended medical school in India at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.  He began his training at the University of Manitoba and completed his residency in Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University. He was in private practice before joining the Faculty at the University of Michigan in 1997.

Dr. Ramnath teaches Neurosurgery residents at both the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor VA. He consults on adult spine cases in clinic and also actively participates in the pediatric myelomeningocele clinic.  He is a consultant at the Ann Arbor VA.
