OBGYN Residency Program

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is made up of well-trained subspecialists and generalists.  Our residents are trained to be excellent general obstetrician-gynecologists while being exposed to experts in the subspecialty world of OBGYN.

Residents rotate through Minimally Invasive Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology, Family Planning, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Benign Gynecology and Obstetrics.  Residents become proficient Obstetric and Gynecologic surgeons.  Residents are well-trained in minimally invasive surgery, including the da Vinci robot system.

Our department prides itself on the camaraderie between our residents, our residents and faculty, and our residents and fellows.  We are a team of health care professionals striving for excellence and leadership in patient care, research and education.
