OBGYN Residency Program

Training clinically competent, surgically skilled leaders in Women’s Healthcare.

The University of Michigan Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is deeply committed to providing an exceptional training experience in a highly collaborative environment.

Our residents are exposed to the full breadth and depth of obstetric and gynecologic training and are encouraged to explore a variety of clinical, educational, and research interests. We embrace the unique identities of our residents while empowering them to explore their professional identities and develop their career trajectories.

Our goal is to prepare our graduates to excel in their next phase, whether that is pursuing additional fellowship training, or embarking on careers as private practice physicians, academic physicians, or physician scientists.

The Team. The Team. The Team.

I chose Michigan Medicine due to the culture of family and caring. As a resident and fellow, I have people that I have developed a deep love and respect for. These people that I consider extended family and who have gone above and beyond to show support for me and my family. This isn't something you can replace or replicate.
