On Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, the University of Michigan Department of ObGyn in conjunction with the Duke Center for Global Reproductive Health, hosted the First Annual (Virtual) Global Women's Health Fellowship & Research Symposium.

On Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, the University of Michigan Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in conjunction with the Duke Center for Global Reproductive Health, hosted the First Annual (Virtual) Global Women's Health Fellowship & Research Symposium, an opportunity for current and past women's health fellows, program directors, researchers, and current residents interested in pursuing fellowship training in global women's health to join together to learn more about the current landscape and opportunities within the field.

The keynote speech featured Dr. Benjamin Chi, program director of the University of North Carolina Global Women’s Health Fellowship. Dr. Emma Lawrence, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan presented NIH funding opportunities for global health research. Ms. Gurpreet Rana, Global Health Coordinator at the Taubman Health Sciences Library's Global Health Program at the University of Michigan, presented on global health information and research resources.
