Let's Talk About Fibroids Flyer
Chances are you or someone you know has uterine fibroids. Up to 8 in 10 women experience the condition during their lifetime.

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous tumors that grow in or on the wall of the uterus. They are the most common benign tumors in women of childbearing age.

While many people may never experience symptoms, some will experience pain, abnormal bleeding, and more. Fibroids can even interfere with fertility.

Join NICHD for a Facebook Live to learn about symptoms, treatment, trustworthy resources you can share, and promising scientific research. Dr. Candace Tingen, Program Officer for Uterine Fibroids at NICHD, will moderate a discussion between the following experts, who will share facts, provide patient perspectives, and answer common questions.

• Dr. Erica Marsh, Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Center for Reproductive Medicine, Michigan Medicine and NICHD research grantee specializing in research on uterine fibroids.
• Tanika Gray Valbrun, The White Dress Project Founder and Patient Advocate
• Sateria Venable, Fibroid Foundation Founder and Patient Advocate

Tune in on July 29 at 2 p.m. ET to view the event!
