Patient Experience Learning Forum: How to Engage Patient and Family Voices for Better Experience and Outcomes

10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Virtual - Zoom Webinar

Join us for an engaging presentation and panel discussion to understand how you can engage patient and family voices in your work to improve experience and outcomes.

Participants will receive an introduction to working with volunteer patient and family advisors and peer mentors, including learning more about how the Office of Patient Experience screens and trains these very special volunteers. Including patient voices as we plan, design, and care for our patients can help our teams ensure we are meeting the needs of our diverse patient populations. The didactic component will be followed by an interdisciplinary panel of Michigan Medicine employees and volunteer advisors, sharing their experiences of working together to improve the experience of care for everyone at Michigan Medicine. The target audience is all faculty, staff, and learners at Michigan Medicine.
