U.S. News and World Report Ranking for Ophthalmology

Ranked No. 1 in Michigan and No. 8 in the country, U-M Kellogg Eye Center was recognized among the best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report for 2018-2019.

The 2018-2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals Rankings named Michigan Medicine number 8 in the nation and number one in Michigan for ophthalmology (eye care). The ranking recognizes Kellogg Eye Center's reputation for providing high-quality patient care and treating the most challenging eye conditions.

Overall, the University of Michigan’s hospitals were ranked number 5 in the nation, putting it on the Honor Roll, and number one in Michigan. U.S. News and World Report annually judges hospitals for its Best Hospitals list(link is external) by rating high-quality patient care, commitment to patient safety, clinical resources, family centeredness and other measures
