Vitreo-Retinal Surgical Fellowship

Program Description

The Retina Service of the U-M Kellogg Eye Center offers a 2-year fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases. The fellowship includes both surgical and medical training in vitreo-retinal diseases, uveitis, ocular oncology, and inherited retinal dystrophies and provides experience in fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), ultrasonography and electrophysiological tests. The fellowship is based primarily at the Kellogg Eye Center, but also includes experience at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Hospital which is approximately five minutes from the Kellogg Eye Center. Fellows will have the opportunity to work with all vitreo-retinal attending faculty. Facilities for both clinical and basic research are available to facilitate research interests of the fellow.

The Kellogg Eye Center is participating in the Retina Fellowship sponsored by the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology (www.sfmatch.org).
