This course will discuss the role of proper nutrition in general eye health, with a focus on the diabetic diet. It will also explore the function of nutritional supplements in relation to glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and macular degeneration. Finally, the course will examine the role of medical marijuana in the treatment of glaucoma.

This course will provide a basic understanding of various pathologies that can affect the posterior segment, including inherited retinal diseases, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis. We will also explore imaging modalities that aid in the diagnosis of these diseases. There will also be an overview of the treatments for these diseases, such as
