Patient-Centered Approach to the Care of Intraocular Tumors

Patients with ocular tumors require a specific examination skills and office diagnostic procedures for appropriate diagnosis.  They also require a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and thoughtful coordination of care. These topics will be discussed in the context of the roles of our Allied Health staff.

Ocular Nutrition

This course will discuss the role of proper nutrition in general eye health, with a focus on the diabetic diet. It will also explore the function of nutritional supplements in relation to glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and macular degeneration. Finally, the course will examine the role of medical marijuana in the treatment of glaucoma.
