"I was raised in the Philadelphia suburb of Kennett Square, PA. I spent a brief period of my childhood living abroad in Singapore. I am a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, in Exeter, NH, of Princeton University, in Princeton, NJ, and of Howard University College of Medicine, in Washington, DC. Between undergrad and medical school, I spent a year living in Tulsa, OK working with middle school students who displayed early warning signs of becoming school dropouts; serving my community continues to be very important to me. My introduction to orthopaedics was during an internship in the development lab of the medical devices company Globus Medical as a sophomore in college. I am looking forward to five great years of Orthopaedic training at the University of Michigan. In my time away from medicine, I enjoy running, cooking, chess, and the Philadelphia Eagles."
